The objective is to enhance the capabilities of EnergyVaasa -cluster SMEs to operate as part of critical operating environment, support anchor companies’ supply chains, and enable rapid recovery from disruptions. The project combines local expertise, international collaboration, and strategic preparedness. The project activates to apply for development and investment funding through the upcoming TL 7 (ReArm-program update).

The initiative will develop a technologically and logistically resilient energy production concept suitable for both civilian and military use, and exportable even in crisis situations. The concept is scalable and modular, based on dual-use technology, and strengthens the position of the EnergyVaasa cluster as a European leader in energy technology and security of supply.

The project aims to establish a permanent dual-use technology collaboration platform that supports innovation, product development, and the emergence of new business concepts. Additionally, it promotes cross-border preparedness cooperation and maps European preparedness networks.
