IMG 3367 MariHanna 600px“The fall has started off at a fast pace,” says Hanna Alavillamo, who just started as Communications & Brand Manager, and Marketing Manager Mari Kattelus:

“The biggest thing that we work on at the moment is the planning for next year’s EnergyWeek. In the following few weeks we will put together the program for the event week and decide on the top themes, together with the event organizers and the main partners. After that, the details in the communication plan will be specified and the practical arrangements for the week will start for real.

EnergyWeek is a test of cooperation as the event is arranged in collaboration between a number of different organizations.

“EnergyWeek 2017 will take place on March 20–24 so it’s a good idea to book the days in your calendar now,” Alavillamo reminds.

”The Vaasa region and Energy Vaasa will be present at the Alihankinta 2016 Subcontracting Fair in Tampere in September, with the energy sector’s subcontractors exhibiting at a joint stand organized by Expo Österbotten. Apart from that, Vaasa will host the National Entrepreneurship Days on October 7–9,” Kattelus lists the program for this fall.

The Entrepreneurship Days will bring together up to 2,000 entrepreneurs for a union meeting, also offering the participants a good dose of information on the Vaasa region energy cluster and the World Heritage Site.

During the fall, VASEK will also be co-organizing a few journalist visits. The region can be seen and heard in radio and in the social media all the rest of the year, as the region’s top companies continue with their efforts to attract employees with the campaign Suuret saappaat, for example.

”We have just updated information on vacant jobs at the website suuretsaappaat.fi,” Kattelus says.
